Enjoy ZIPPING along our 1600′ Zipline at Shady Beach Campground on the Elk River in Missouri
Imagine climbing up our zip tower, 40′ in the air, launching off the top deck and then zipping 800′ and crossing over the Elk River!
For the return trip the zippers make their way up the 6 stories of stairs (60 ft.) to the top deck.
Take a moment to enjoy the beautiful scenic view of the surrounding area. Now you are standing at the top and hooked up to the Zip Line cable. Just step off of the platform and enjoy the zip home.
The return zip is our fastest and highest zip!
The Zip Line is open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm.
To zip alone, person must weigh more than 90 lbs. Maximum weight is 335 lbs. Tandem zips are available with our qualified personnel for kids weighing less than 90 lbs.
We also offer our guests two climbing walls, built onto the 40′ zipline tower. This is definitely something you will want to come and participate in. Lots of great fun is waiting for you at our Elk River Campground!
CAMPING
Shady Beach Campground is one of the most recommended campgrounds in SW Missouri! Perfect location on the Elk River for your Southwest Missouri vacation. Reservations are required on weekends during our peak season!
FLOATING
Nothing can compare to a day long float on the Elk River which is rated a class I-II, making it ideal for beginners or just a relaxing, laid back day for the experienced.
